My journey has been a blend of academic pursuits, practical experience, and curiosity. I hold a Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Maryland, College Park. Additionally, I have served as a postdoctoral fellow at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and as a research fellow at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). These roles provided me with the opportunity to engage in cutting-edge research and contribute to significant advancements in communication, culture, and health.
My experience extends beyond academia. Through my time as a news editor at Tianjin Television Station and a journalist at the National Film Museum in China, has deepened my understanding of media communication and its impact on the society.
I thrive on interdisciplinary collaboration and possess a deep passion for teaching and mentoring students.
